Our products are extensions for the Joomla! application framework if not mentioned otherwise specifically.

You can redistribute it and/or modify our software under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. All existing copyrights by Originin must be prominently visible on all modified versions of this software.

Our software is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU General Public License for more details.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Our website provides a download service for extensions (the “products”) in accordance with the GNU GPL license and the following Terms and Conditions issued by our company, Originin owned by Alvaana BV in The Netherlands.

Modifications: You are authorized to make any necessary modification(s) to the products to fit your purposes. Redistribution of the original or any modified version must always be done in accordance with the GNU GPL license. In this case, you must also not change or remove the copyright information in the header of the xml descriptor file or the php file. Please contact us us if you have any requirements that are not covered by these terms.

Unauthorized use: Although the number of downloads are not limited, download links can not be shared (see below, 'Assignability'). Sharing or other methods which allow for multiple, simultaneous downloads (and thereby affect the performance of this site or partner sites) are strictly forbidden and may result in termination of your access rights.

Updates: All of the products are designed for the latest version of Joomla, but we can give no guarantee, that the products will run with future versions of Joomla. Any issues related to software versions and compatibility can be issued trough the contact form.

Delivery: Your software or a download link to get the software will be immediately delivered by email after we have succesfully received your payment.

Assignability: You may not sub-license, assign, or transfer your download information to anyone else without prior written consent from Originin.

Ownership: You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of the products, modified or unmodified. All products are property of Originin. The products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall our juridical person be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use the products.

Refund policy: Since Originin is offering non-tangible irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds after the transaction is made, which you are responsible for understanding upon buying our products.

Warranty: Originin does not warranty or guarantee these products in any manner. Our proper testing processes cannot guarantee our software will function with all 3rd party extensions as there are to many variables, combination options and there is currently no certification process for such extensions. Browser compatibility should be tested on the demo prior to subscription. Please ensure that the browsers you use will work with the producs as we can not guarantee that the products will function properly with all browser combinations.

Support: Originin offers these products "as is", with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you wish or with all 3rd party components, modules or plugins. Further, we offer no support via email or otherwise for general installation, customization, administration of Joomla etc under the Originin banner.

The contact form is here to be used but not abused. We've done our very best to create simple products, good documentation and a FAQ which will grow according to needs.

If you've got problems with the products delivery you can of course contact us. If there are clear problems with one of our products you can of course contact us. If you want a custom template like the one on this site you can contact us but don't even think about it if your budget doesn't have 4 numbers to begin with. If you've got a great Joomla! project and a realistic and fair budget you can of course contact us.

What we don't do is fix general Joomla! bugs or problems, there are many places where you can find great people that are set for those tasks.
