Today marks the launch of Snippets, a simple and easy to use Snippets manager that can be used as a simple CCK for Joomla!

There are many occasions where you need to reuse a piece of content for it to have the same look every time. With Snippets you can and it's easy to use and very flexible.

Snippets is great in many cases but if you need a full blown custom content site K2 is a great package to use.

Right now K2 is missing a plugin render action but they are working on it for the next release. As soon as that plugin call is in K2, Snippets will be great to use alongside K2 also to create pre-defined Snippets of HTML.
